Locals love Cinco de Mayo Mexican Restaurant for classic Mexican fare and the best margaritas in town.

For such a small town, La Pine boasts an impressive lineup of activities and events. Think you have the best legs in town? Prove it at La Pine Frontier Days Men’s Beautiful Legs contest! This is just one of the many fun and festive activities at the annual summer celebration. You’ll also find a beard and mustache competition, an apple pie contest, barbeque throwdown, fireworks, and so much more. This is La Pine’s biggest 4th of July celebration and it truly has everything. 
 
Take in the incredible views at Crater Lake National Park, home to Crater Lake, the deepest lake in America and one of the most pristine on the planet. Over 7,500 years in the making, Crater Lake is the main feature of the park and is famous for clear, deep blue water. Not to be outdone, Paulina Lake and East Lake in Deschutes National Forest are exceptional trout lakes nestled in the caldera of the Newberry National Volcanic Monument, the largest ice-age volcano in Oregon. Challenge your golf game and bask in the Oregon sun at the Quail Run Golf Course. Memberships are available for this beautifully maintained 18 hole facility.
