Welcome to Sunriver

The idyllic town of Sunriver is now known as a resort mecca and premium getaway destination, but it used to be nothing but forests, meadowlands, and lakes. Homesteaders started farming the region in the late 1800s and, in 1965, Portland land developer John Gray transformed the landscape into a residential and resort community. This vibrant town is named for its two most stunning features: buttery sunshine and crystal water.

Year-round outdoor activities, recreation, and relaxation are the name of the Sunriver game, making this an ideal spot for setting down family roots or setting up a vacation home. Located just south of Bend, Sunriver is one of the original Central Oregon resort destinations.

With top-rated golf courses and the world-class Sunriver Resort, Sunriver is a luxurious, beautiful place to relax any time of year.

With sharp modern designs, classic split levels, chalet-inspired homes, and majestic estates, Sunriver offers an incredible variety of architectural styles. Whether you’re looking to build your dream home on a private lot or be a part of a resort-style community, you’ll find the perfect place in Sunriver.

Located at the luxe Sunriver Resort, Twisted River Tavern is Sunriver's favorite spot for incredible views, artisan drinks, and Insta-worthy food. Nestled neatly among the pines, The Village at Sunriver is a quaint collection of restaurants and boutiques. This upscale, open-air shopping center also offers family-friendly activities like mini-golf and ice-skating.
